Though no claims nor guarantees are made, and healing progress and
rehabilitation varies from individual from individual, many clients with varying
health issues, from damaged spines to knee problems to asthma to depression, to
name a few, have not only found relief and a lessening and cessation of pain,
but have also discovered that chronic symptoms begin to disappear by regulary
performing GYROTONIC and/or GYROKINESIS exercises. Clients should continue to consult any health care professionals whom
they are seeing for their physical or mental maladies.
Some physical conditions may require
that an individual take private GYROTONIC lessons or GYROKINESIS classes on a
regular basis, yet other conditions improve quickly and the individual can
reduce the amount of sessions with the Trainer if so desired. Many physical,
emotional and mental illnesses often have taken years to develop and are deeply
rooted, so patience is required at times before one may notice changes in a
particular condition. The main point is that everyone is different and unique
and GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS Trainers are taught to attempt to recognize the
conditons and needs of every client who wants to begin training. The client can
then choose or not choose to follow the recommendations of the
Trainer.
Because GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS
methodologies can be categorized as "holistic" in nature, and if it follows
that the physical body is closely linked and intertwined with the emotional and
mental bodies, i.e. the emotions and the mind, than one may also potentially
benefit emotionally or mentally by practicing GYROTONIC or GYROKINESIS
exercises. The body, emotions and mind are considered as one unit, and the
stimulation or healing of one aspect may have an effect on another
aspect.
In addition, many clients of GYROTONIC
and GYROKINESIS Trainers worldwide have not been injured and have no major
health issues, but they take GYROTONIC lessons or GYROKINESIS classes regulary
because they like the way that they feel afterward and it helps them more easily
deal with the potential stress incurred by living in a fast-paced, 21st Century
society.
